Summary/Objective
The Manager, Marketing is responsible for the effective marketing of CoDeveloper, IFT’s first customer-facing SaaS product. This role works cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders and serves as a counselor and partner to drive marketing efforts that grow CoDeveloper’s brand presence in the market and helps meet its financial goals. The Manager has a deep understanding of and practical experience with executing marketing principles and tactics, as well as a full understanding of CoDeveloper’s value proposition and customer profiles. The manager has experience in executing successful marketing communications strategies, as well as implementing corresponding tactical plans designed to support program goals. The Manager is committed to communicating the value of both the IFT and CoDeveloper brands and is instrumental in the achievement of IFT’s organizational goals.

Essential Responsibilities

• Develops and executes integrated marketing strategies and tactics in partnership with appropriate teams to support CoDeveloper goals

• Understands the full-funnel approach to lead generation and can partner with both the Sales and Channels teams to develop outreach targeted to the right audiences and driven by data

• Maintains a thorough understanding of target audiences and uses that knowledge to partner with the channels team to identify appropriate channels and implement activities based on strategic plans

• Engages and partners with multiple stakeholders, including team leadership and external partners

• Serves as a partner and counselor to key stakeholders inside of IFT, understanding their goals and timelines to proactively develop plans and approaches that engage audiences and drive results

• Partners closely with the Content and Channels teams use of data to guide decisions on content development, timing and channels for marketing initiatives

• Maintains a thorough understanding of target audiences and uses that knowledge to partner with the channels team to identify appropriate channels and implement activities based on strategic plans

• Partners with external agencies as needed to support CoDeveloper marketing efforts.

• Maintains knowledge in developing industry trends and technologies

• Ensures compliance with industry and legal regulations and best practices, and adherence to company processes and procedures

CoDeveloper-focused Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting, counseling, and executing all marketing strategies related to CoDeveloper

• Proficient in driving Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and implementing approaches in collaboration with the VP, Sales and Director, Scientific Programs and Product Development.

• Demonstrates a deep understanding in how to develop audiences (advertising and programming) to drive increased sales and engagement opportunities.

• Partners closely with IFT’s strategic marketing and external partners to reflect IFT’s role as a convener across the global food system.

• Partners with the CoDeveloper project team to ensure product designs reflect audience needs and align with organizational goals and objectives.

• Supports the development and implementation of integrated marketing strategies to reach new audiences and bolster qualified marketing leads for CoDeveloper products.

• Responsible for the development of any CoDeveloper-related content and branding materials across IFT’s channels and platforms, including website, social media, email, mobile app, signage, etc., aligning brand to overall IFT and CoDeveloper brand identities.

• Partners with the Channels teams and external parties to facilitate a scalable email and LinkedIn outreach system focused on creating sales funnels.

• Works cross-functionally to ensure clarity and simplicity in messaging and approach to create an engaging and frictionless experience for audiences.

• Creates opportunities to engage with new audience groups to generate increased exposure for CoDeveloper products, ultimately driving increased sales and revenue.

Travel Required

• Occasional domestic travel is expected including the ability to attend occasional evening, weekend, and overnight meetings

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent

• 3+ years of related experience in a similar position, preferably at an association or in a SAAS environment

• 3+ years of experience managing the marketing efforts for a product line

• 3+ years of demonstrated ability to write clearly and concisely with exceptionally strong communication skills

• 3+ years of experience of successfully building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

• 3+ years of experience in demand and lead generation efforts in partnership with a sales or advertising team

• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Experience

• Experience with HubSpot or a similar email marketing platform

• Experience with content marketing at a food, health, scientific, and/or software organization

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $71,000 to 81,000 Per Year (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
